Don’t you dare rain on Cardi B’s parade right now!
The Invasion of Privacy rapper took to social media Monday to vent about the “bullsh*t” she was seeing online surrounding her Grammys win for best rap album.
While the outpouring of love from fans was bountiful, Bardi couldn’t help but let the haters get under her skin — and proceeded to drag them the eff out in a since-deleted Instagram video.

As archived by Pop Crave, she shouted at her critics:
“I f*cking worked my ass off, locked myself in the studio for 3 months, didn’t go to sleep in my own bed, sometimes for 4 days straight- while pregnant!” pic.twitter.com/IH6UslAh1s

Actually… don’t preach! You don’t owe those rats any explanation, gurl.
Thankfully, the haterricane eventually blew over. After receiving supportive messages from peers like Chance the Rapper and J. Cole, Cardi wrote multiple posts thanking her fans and everyone who helped her get where she is today.
She shared on Instagram and Twitter:
I listen to my album and I cry because I know the hell I went thruu doing the album is always a bittersweet memory. THANK YOU EVERYONE THAT SUPPORTED ME AND LISTEN .Im thankful and grateful and again thank you to all the artist that gave me a feature .❤️❤️❤️❤️😂😂❤️❤️ pic.twitter.com/XhYxwtj6Gl

That’s more like it…
But why is she still explaining how hard she’s worked? We know, Cardi! We all know.
You know the internet has done its job for the day when a Grammy winner feels the need to validate why she won her Grammy.
