Irish Cloud Aggregator MicroWarehouse will host ‘Cloud Camp’ at the Dublin Convention this Wednesday 17th October 2018. The first of its kind in Ireland, the conference will unite IT professionals, CIO’s and data protection specialists from around the world to take stock of the latest developments in technology and map future trends.
The focus of Cloud Camp will be on Microsoft Cloud Technology, with many of the speakers recognised as Microsoft Valuable Professionals (MVP). Attendees will also be able to attend sessions on themes such as digital transformation, productivity, security, compliance and governance and the future of cloud technology.
GDPR and cyber security will also be hot topics of debate. In June, MicroWarehouse commissioned a survey examining how Irish businesses had been affected one month on from the introduction of GDPR. The survey found that over 57% of companies do not think the introduction of GDPR has made any difference to their day to day operations whereas only 43% of Irish companies consider cybersecurity a top priority.
The conference will feature a panel of carefully selected Irish and International speakers. The closing address will be delivered by Windows Weekly Presenters and two of the world’s leading technology Journalists Paul Thurrott and Mary Jo Foley, who will explore the future of Microsoft Technology.
Limited tickets are still available for the event. The full line up of speakers, further event details and ticket sales can be found here: https://cloudcamp.ie/
