Mousebelt, a blockchain support ecosystem has added 11 new members to its education alliance group.

This is according to an official blog post by the platform. Mousebelt is one of the few development projects designed to provide crypto startups with much-needed support. To facilitate the provision of support to startups, the platform also launched the Blockchain Education Alliance in October 2019. It started up with 13 members, they include Stellar Development Foundation, TRON, Hedera, ICON, Ontology, Wanchain, Harmony One. Nervos, Orbs, LTO Network, Emurgo, NEM, and ETC Labs were also not left out. Since then these huge projects in the crypto space have worked round the clock to educate university students on the rudiments of blockchain tech.

Mousebelt has however announced the inclusion of 11 new members. They include Ripple’s Xpring and its partner Mastercard. Binance X, Multi.io, KuCoin, Neo, IoTeX, Quantstamp, Constellation Network, Matic Network, and Truffle Suite.

In response to the listing, BinanceX Business Development Manager, Gareth Lai pointed out that the team was excited to be part of the Education Alliance. Adding that they look forward to working with other members of the team to develop the blockchain sector.

About Blockchain Education Alliance

The Alliance is a collaboration between top industry members to support blockchain education and research. Providing funding, educational materials as well as organizing workshops, hackathons, and meetups. Founded in 2018, the program currently supports over 80 student blockchain organizations. Alongside an online educational program and the UC blockchain Initiative

Ashlee Meredith, director of Mousebelt pointed out that, “The best way to invest in the space is to make long term investments in education”.

Also adding that experts from all over the globe are needed to help design better curriculum and projects.

These recent additions will provide more expert hands to help develop blockchain projects. Both members and students are mandated to attend a monthly meeting. Where they will receive updates on events, hackathons, etc planned for the month.

Developer Relation at Xpring, Warren Paul Anderson, disclosed that Xpring and MouseBelt have similar goals. Which is to improve blockchain at the curriculum stage.

Equipping the younger generation with knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrency is an important aspect of ensuring global crypto adoption in the near future.

The younger generations are more open to cryptocurrency. This is quite evident in a recent US SME survey., where newer businesses accepted cryptocurrencies as opposed to older businesses. Chinese college students also see a future with blockchain and cryptocurrency as inevitable.

To also incorporate teenagers, Bitsa launched a crypto credit card for teenagers.
