Photographer Raphael Mazzucco’s Montauk estate has sold to married celebrity interior designers Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent.
The three-bedroom, three-bathroom home at 53 Kettle Hole Road went on the market in 2017 for $4.35 million. After several price chops, per Realtor.com, it was last asking $1.59 million. (Mazzucco bought it for $920,000 in 2003.)
It is not immediately clear exactly how much the pair, who host TLC’s “Nate & Jeremiah By Design,” paid for the spread.
Previously, Berkus was a regular on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” while Brent launched his own design firm after working as Rachel Zoe’s assistant on her show “The Rachel Zoe Project.” Mazzucco’s shoots have appeared in Vogue and Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue, as well as campaigns for Victoria’s Secret.
The modern residence comes with koi ponds, a stone mosaic fireplace and a paint-splattered living room. The structure comes with a black exterior and a rooftop deck overlooking Fort Pond Bay.
It also features unique touches like driftwood repurposed as beams. The gated home includes a pool, a pool house, a sauna and even a chicken coop. There’s also an option to build an additional floor.
Trendsetter Jayma Cardoso, the founder of Montauk’s iconic Surf Lodge, rented the home over the summer.
Nest Seekers’ broker Dylan Eckhardt repped both the seller and the buyers.
This month, Berkus and Brent listed their one-bedroom unit at 2 E. 12th St., set inside a 19th-century townhouse, for $800,000 with Core’s Emily Beare, Kiana Dunn and Beth Doud. It was StreetEasy’s most popular listing of the week.
